Dan-Erik Roosve ja Kertu Süld osalevad filmilaagris, kus kohtuvad erinevate Eesti koolide õpilased ja õpetajad filmiõppejõud Eestist, Rootsist ja Soomest.

Filmilaagri eesmärk on filmitegemise kaudu pöörata tähelepanu meid ümbritsevale merekeskkonnale ning tutvustada seeläbi omakultuuri elu ja olemust Eesti arhipelaagi piirkonnas ning väikesaartel.

Laager toimub Eesti suurima purjelaeva, vanalaev Kajsamoor pardal, mis on unikaalne ja suurepärane näide vana ja uue sümbioosist ning kooskõlast. Laevalaager algab Tallinnast ning reedeks jõutakse Pärnusse. Vahepeal peatutakse Muhu saarel, et tutvuda traditsioonilise uisk-tüüpi purjelaeva Uisk ehitustöödega ning jäädvustada selle valmimisprotsessi.

Filmilaagris osalevad noored koos õpetajatega Emmastest, Käinast, Muhust ja Tallinnast. Õppejõududeks on Kinobussi filmijuhendajad Mikk Rand ja Lauri Nagel ning külalistena Fredrik Nordbladh Film Stockholmist ning Rasmus Sumelius Västabolandi regioonist.

Filmilaager merel on osa Eesti, Soome, Rootsi ühisprojektist Young Baltic Narratives, mille eesmärk on arendada meediakirjaoskuse ja visuaalse keele (filmikeele) rakendamist nii õppetöös kui vabal ajal, toetades ja populariseerides seeläbi ka filmitehnikate kasutamist loovõppe eesmärgil Eesti haridussüsteemis.

Lisaks filmitegevusele on olulisel kohal oma kultuuripärandi ja looduskeskkonna esiletõstmine ning väärtustamine– ikka filmitegemise ja filmide vaatamise kaudu. Projekti eripärast tulenevalt on rõhk pandud just Eestit-Soomet-Rootsit ühendavale Kesk-Läänemere arhipelaagi piirkonnale.

Eelkõige kajastub see kõik töös koolide ja noortekeskustega nii Eestis kui partnerregioonides, milleks on Stockholm, Gotland, Ahvenamaa ning Västabolandi regioon. Omavahel on seotud õpilaste ja õpetajate haridus-kultuurivahetus ning noortele suunatud sotsiaalse- ja kultuurilise tegevuse esiletõstmine, mida viiakse läbi nii kohalikul kui piiriülesel tasandil. Lapsi ühendavad filmilaagrid leiavad aset Gotlandil ja Ahvenamaal, õpetajatele suunatud meediakoolitused toimuvad Eestis ja Soomes, soodustatakse Eesti ja Põhjamaade laste-ja noortefilmide ringlust ning partnerriikide filmi- ja meediapedagoogide know-how-d jagatakse omavahel, toetades omavahelist koostööd kolleegidega Soomest ja Rootsist.

Projekti Euroopa toetus tuleb Kesk-Läänemere programmist Interreg IV ja kohalikul tasandil toetavad projekti Hasartmängumaksude Nõukogu, Tiigrihüppe Sihtasutus ja Kultuurkapital.
